Garland Crime Stoppers sponsors the annual Taste of Garland.  This event is held each year at the GISD Event Center and is the primary fund raiser for Garland's Crime Stopper program.  Restaurants from the Garland area set up booths with tasty samples of their specialities.  There is also a live and silent auction of donated items from jewerly to police ride-alongs.
